ZEBRA COMICS BUILDING A REPUTATION FOR CONSISTENCY

It is no doubt that when it comes to publishing comics in Africa, consistency has always been a problem.  There are tons of mobile apps for comics in Africa, but no one has been able to provide content consistently and with equal measure on quality.  However, Zebra comics since the beginning of 2023 has proven to break from that drawback. They have been releasing comics every two days , and this February, they took it up a notch to daily publications. We hope they can keep up with this pace, for the African comics space truly needs this level of consistency and dedication.  By our assertion at the Geek Chimp, Zebra Comics is currently the most reliable comic book app in Africa. Some even say it is the best so far, considering the user experience. In a later article, we shall go in depth into the functionalities of the Zebra Comics app. Download Zebra Comics from google play store. And if you use and iOS device, go to https://zebra-comics.com to be granted access to their platform.

Is woke culture killing comics?

Woke culture has had a negative impact on the comic industry by creating a culture of censorship and self-censorship.

This has led to a decrease in creativity and an overall decrease in the quality of comic books, as creators and publishers are too afraid to take risks or explore controversial topics for fear of being accused of being insensitive or politically incorrect.

More-so, woke culture has caused an increase in the number of comics that are being cancelled or pulled from the shelves due to their perceived offensive content, which has had a damaging effect on the industry.

It is often putting diversity and political correctness before storytelling and character development. This is leading to stories that lack authenticity and originality, as companies are trying to appease a certain political agenda and are failing to create meaningful and captivating stories.

Additionally, it is causing readers to become apathetic and less engaged in the stories, resulting in fewer sales.

Finally, it is creating a divide between readers and creators, as readers are growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of creativity and originality in the stories.
